My 330i M-Sport in Dravit Grey

Yesterday I vistited my local dealer to have a quick look at my car that was delivered earlier this week.

The car is a Dravit Grey with cognac interior 330i M-Sport with lots of options. Better to highlight what I did not order:
- HUD
- Sunroof
- gesture control
- electric trunk
- M adaptive suspension

Special options I ordered:
- Individual leather walknappa/merino dashboard
- Aluminium window trim.

Here are some first pictures:

Is that the "Aluminum Trim with mesh effect" trim (not Tetragon)?

Yes it is indeed. Didn’t like tetragon at all and went with the much finer aluminum mesh effect without seeing it. Really like it!

I think it looks good too. The tetragon looks kind of weird to me. Do you have a close up picture of the trim handy? That might seal the deal for me.

Also congratulations on the car!

Friday 16th of August I’ve finally picked up my 330i M Sport. So far I really like the BMW steering feel and responsiveness of the ZF8 ( coming from a Mercedes-Benz C200d ). Also driving assist professional works very well and helps a lot in traffic.

Not sure yet about fuel consumption. So far range is max 805 km, but average fuel consumption is currently 6,8 l/100 km). Most of it are motorway kilometers.

As indicated by several other forum members Bluetooth and Carplay are very unstable. When it works it’s fine, but looks likes I need to reconnect, reboot everything often. Especially connecting with Apple Carplay really frustrated me. It took me up to 7 attempts to get it properly connected (as IT consultant) Also the Connecteddrive app works slow and doesn’t provide to much information about the car. Mercedes Me i.e. Shows you the current tire pressure, fuel consumption details of last drive, ...

Today I already handed over the 330i to a professional car detailer for a ceramic coating. Hope this gives the Individual Dravitgrey paint the finish it deserves. He will also remove the 330i logo.

Does the executive package come with 3d view? I also want the laser lights but it seems I cant get 3d view which is important when I park.

3D view was part of the business package plus in Belgium (we don’t have an executive package) . Laser light was part of the innovation package, But I ordered it as stand alone option as I was not interested in the HUD.

my car now received the ceramic coating (Gyeon Syncro). Even on a new car it’s a huge difference!

Till now I’m very pleased with the fuel consumption of my 330iw On average 7l/100 km on my first 500 km till now. This gives me a range of 921 km which is not bad at all for a petrol car. Most of the time motorway with dense traffic.

Also very pleased with the driving pack professional with active lane assist and active cruise control.

Time for some small modifications:
- triangle holder under the boot (trunk)
- moving the grocery hook and add one more (on order)
- BMW Individual door sills
- BMW Individual 19 inch 793i alloy wheels on order (summer 2020)

I also finally found the tyre toolkit under the left storage area.
