I have the same car. My dealership told me that. If you check the parts in the BMW part catalog with your vin, you won't be able to find the m performance front splitter and the rear spoiler.

ZF8 comes in multiple versions in terms of torque handling, a ZF8 in a 140i has completely different torque limits to a ZF8 in a 760li.

The spread is from 300nm to 900nm depending on the version.

The real drawback would be having AWD in a beamer

Wow how much torque are you pushing? And what was the stage 2 mods you had done?

I'm running 360+ bhp - 630+ nm on a stage 1 and I rip through 340i's .
I have about 450 lb-ft torque. Haven't dynoed it but it's around that. I have downpipe, chargepipe, and intake.

Its electric? What? Did not see that coming. Did a double take on the electric plug cap.

Nice

The car with 70-80 miles electric range would be a dream daily driver

I'd take that with a grain of salt.

Regardless of what a dealership says.

If it cannot be found in writing I'd call bullshit.

Car looks absolutely stellar dude you did a great job.

I didn't spend much money, inner diffuser and tips 290€, frontgrill and decal its a gift from my dealer ;-), brakes painted red
Here in Belgium the price difference is around the 15000€ and we don't have to pay any taxes on the 330e and on a 340i a lot.
The boost from 0 to.. is huge ,you don't get that at a 340i, 330e with tune is faster.
Also better gas mileage. The m340i has x drive though and will launch more consistently and certain advantages in cornering particularly in bad weather. Now I'm thinking of picking up a used F30 330e as they have depreciated a lot and doing this to one.
My thoughts too! Would be nice to pick one up!

He's not in the US, and Magnuson Moss works differently than you think.

Isn't that a US Federal Law, so it wouldn't apply oversees, and anytime you mod a car it would affect warranty coverage.

In the US, the dealer and manufacturer have to prove that the modification caused the issue. For example, having a JB4 tune did not cause three sets of HPFPs to fail on our N54 and the dealer gave us no trouble.

It can be stricter in other countries, Germany is really tight, but an aftermarket tune does not equal 'no warranty.'

The dealer could have given you trouble and voided the whole power train warranty as some dealers are not so mod friendly. They chose not to in your case. The HPFP would have to have failed without the jb4. This is a known issue with the N54 so they went ahead and did it for you. Even a BMS intake could prevent passing emissions test though it may not affect tail pipe emissions as they simple refuse to do the test if they see one and fail you on the spot.
