Will the M340i have a tachometer in the HUD display?

I notice @ 11:54 in the video below, the M850i has a tach in the HUD.

It used to be only for formal M cars, but maybe all future M Performance vehicles are getting this feature as well?

More than likely, since the 330i also gets it. As do all models with a HUD (and sport mode?) I assume.

All iDrive 7 cars will get the tach in the HUD when in sport mode

Not only the HUD but you can also place in display in a widget. That would b e the full sports display
