Where is the Aux. audio input on a 330i?
I can not find the audio input for the new car. There are several USB, C, and lightening power plug sockets, but I'm not finding the aux. input. The owners manual says go to the nav. and infotainment manual and that was not packed with the car. This is available at your dealer!
It's quite the mystery. I hope this isn't going to turn out like the sunroof SNAFU. Best always, Bluemill |

Maybe it's like the iPhone and they got rid of the headphone jack. Most people use Bluetooth or USB unless you have a really old device. There also isn't a CD player anymore. What device do you have that requires a headphone jack, maybe the iPod nano or shuffle? They probably thought it wasn't worth it for the few people who would use it like the manual transmission.

i wouldn't be shocked if there wasn't an aux port. My A4 I'm 95% sure doesn't have one.
Would suck though, I tried the BT in a G20 at the dealer and the BT only seems to transmit audio with SBC codec not AAC or apt-x |

The CD player delete is what I'm trying to connect....
I researched on line the best portable CD player for your car. Two different sources pointed to an Insignia player, a great buy for the money with super skip protection. To connect to your car, you find the 3.5mm input and plug in. Before I bought it I had found in the on-board system owners manual a picture of an audio input, a 3.5mm like the one on our F30. The same manual did not say where the input was.
It's not a super biggy, as this is my wife's main vehicle and she said when I found that the car didn't have a CD player, it didn't matter to her, as she is hooked on sports and news radio. I was looking for a way to play books on CD when we take long trips on the interstates. I'm thinking that maybe the USB will also act as an input, but I'm not sure if you can get a 3.5mm to USB cable that will work. Help! Bluemill |
