BMW 330i ride comfort
Hi there, I just recently bought my 2019 bmw 330i and love it but one thing that I’m not loving is the bumpy ride especially here in New Jersey where we have lots of potholes and uneven roads. Would replacing my run flat tires with regular tires rated high in comfort make the ride more softer or is the suspension on bmw just more firm and different tires won’t make much difference?

Do you have the adaptive M Suspension, or standard? I heard the standard can be a bit rough. But, in saying that, a fix could be changing wheels to a smaller size (19" Stock, could go 18s, I did for my winter setup) and getting rid of run flats for normal tires will supposedly change the drive drastically from what i've read, and I'll be going that route once my summer run flats are done. |

Changing away from run flats will help, yes.

Perspective also matters so what other car are you comparing the ride comfort to?
Just as an example I drive a M340i that's on M Sport suspension, run flats and 19s and when I had a loaner 330i for a few days which had non-runflat 18s and the standard suspension it was a lot more comfortable to me.
