is there any option/way to have windows auto close as you lock and walk away. Same way mirrors do

I don’t see anything in comfort access. The only way I know is by using the key fob. Keep pressing the lock button.

I haven’t tried it but does, “hey BMW, raise all windows” work after you’ve stopped the car/turned the ignition off?

Am guessing it won’t work at this point, though it certainly works while driving...

This might be a location specific thing as the holding down the lock button on the fob doesn't raise the windows in the US. The key fob is only for lowering the windows. We have to keep our finger on the comfort access pad on the door handle to raise the windows.

Not true, I’m in the US. Use the fob to close windows quite often actually.

Hmm, I think I'll have to play with it some more then. I tried it once, but I must not have waited long enough. Figured it was the same story as with the F30. Thanks for the tip, all!

I know that at least in Europe the functionality to close windows from outside was disabled for safety concerns, for example if you forget a child/pet in the car so that you cannot "forget about them".
Only way I know to close them is to hold your finger on the ribbed part of the door handle for the comfort access lock.

That's the same functionality with the F30 in the states. You couldn't remotely forget a child; you had to go up to the car and forget them personally

So I tried it out on my car. It'll drop the windows, but holding down the lock button doesn't raise them back up. I have to hold down the comfort access ridges on the door handle.

Skeewiff03 ,

You might want to try coding the following in BDC_BODY:
3510 PWFunction> FH_TuerAuf_Stop_Maut from aktiv to nicht_aktiv

Doing so should roll up windows when driver's door is opened -- at least it worked on F30, but though coded on my G20, haven't tried it

Hope that helps!

In the UK I believe the windows will close while you hold the fob button and stop if you let go. I think this is a really good compromise between security and safety.

I can open and close using the key fob but windows stop as soon as I let go of the button so it's at least not disabled on the European markets as a whole. Perhaps only in the east.

I'm in the US and I can roll down all windows with the key fob and roll up all windows with the key fob, but I cannot roll up all the windows with voice commands. Kinda stupid that I have to use the key fob when I'm in the car to roll up all windows...Does anybody know why the voice commands will not roll them up? It actually says it cannot roll them up. Functionally they are the same...

Dumb question, but if you are in the car, why not use the window switches(?) lol

Because that only works until the car sleeps.
After that you can´t use the switches anymore without waking up the car again.
