Recommended modifications for 2024 m340i

I'm new to modding cars, what performance modifications can I make to a m340i while complying with all regulations and without voiding the warranty? live in NY Long Island.

Also where can I find all the tests/regulations that I have to make sure I comply with? (such as the emissions test).
