G80 Carbon Buckets in G20 M340i
Wondering if anyone out there has considered/executed a swap of the G80/82 carbon bucket seats into their G20? I saw KiesMotorsport swap some into a F82 (I think?), which, I understand is less "sacrilege", but I think they'd be an awesome addition to my M340...
...What do you all think? |

I've seen them listed for well over $15k on a forum advertiser's site.
Seems like a down payment on the real car would make more sense at that price? What's the end goal? I think you'd be better off with a nice Recaro set if you're going to be tracking the car. |

Last price I saw was over $20k. Beautiful, but not worth it.
Use that $20k on a down payment for a house/condo, then rent it out. Use that passive income to fund an M3 ha.

Haha. Yeah, they seem to be priced at a ridiculous level when buying from the dealers. I was just gonna keep an eye out for a set out of a totaled car, provided the seats are not damaged and their airbags are intact.
At this point I’m more curious about fit and how they look than anything else. |

I wonder how the different colors they offer would match the interior colors on the G20....
Someone do some photoshopping for us lol.

I'm curious if anyone has ended up doing this swap? I drove an M4 Comp recently, and it was way too stiff for me to use as a daily. I loved the seats, though, so I'm wondering about getting an M340i and then swapping the carbon buckets in. Hell, I wouldn't mind having even the base M3/M4 seats in a M340i.
