Gave these a bash although I bought from a certain auction site, had to file the triangular edge down a fair bit to get them in as the unit as a whole is much thicker than the OEM ones. Also got OEM slides which again needed files to fit these lights as they are thicker than the slides used in the lights. Only had quicker gander this morning before dawn & the OEM slides did not seem to show up well at all. Will have a look at the slides supplied tomorrow morning & see if they show up better as the image on the slide is larger than the OEM.

Well, it took a while, but I received LED "puddle lights". I got these from Auto Nice on Amazon & asked them for /M Performance lens. To allay concerns that others have expressed, the lenses are removable & the light has a metal heat sink. Please see one of previous posts for URL.

Here's what they look like -- pardon the poor lighting & doors not fully open, but it's daylight & only have so much room in garage [IMG]undefined[/IMG]

These look in almost all ways identical to the ones I bought only the ones I have, have a massive metal enclosure on the back of them.

I was afraid they were the same size/design as the units I had on my 540i. These fit perfectly and installed all four in 5 minutes!!!

I ordered them and then had to return - the lens overheated so much! Did you experience this?

UPDATE: Forgot to mention one thing. I have noticed that if I leave a door open for a few minutes, the projector lights blink for about 20 seconds & then go out. Don't know if the car's electric system or lights do it, but that might be something??

If you want just the ///M Logo...Can you get the ///M Logo to replace the OEM wing lights?...or do you have to replace the door LED with the ///M ones and then disable the wing lights...I feel both may be a bit of overkill?

I haven't seen any, I have seen some different designs to replace the wing lights but they are really expensive, check out glow wing on insta.

I got a set for my E53 at a cost of $75, IIRC. The guy got a cease and desist from BMW so he went out of business and BMW wound up stealing his idea and selling it to us.

EDIT: Those M Performance projectors do not fit the M340i. Bummer....

I guess its not as bad if BMW offers them somehow

I got these from aliexpress. It isn't cheap like other aliexpress item but better quality. Looks like same brand as oem one(NAANTE)

Funny thing they disappeared on aliexpress but I found same one.

Thank you for the link. My browser seems to be acting up. Tried contacting the seller but it won't let me. I'll try again tomorrow and see if he can swap the MP logo for BMW roundels.
