Anyone in the US had your dealer update yet? Can you just schedule a service visit to get it updated?

It doesn't seem widely available yet. Or at least wasn't on 7/31 as my dealer wasn't aware of it.

You think that was the reason why they announced OTA updates... to cut back on that but if they prefer us to go into the dealer for updates than I'll have no problem scheduling it in and taking up a time slot.... i actually need to cause my iDrive is so glitchy

Yea, if the software updates are going to be as frequent as every few months, then surely they are waiting to get OTA functioning, as the dealers would be inundated with software updates alone.

As a dealer, do you have any inside scoop details on when this will be coming out?

Still having CarPlay connectivity issues and the ConnectedDrive App is trash.

I just picked up my car today! I have 07/2019.28 installed from factory and I have the Assisted Driving View! I do not however have Spotify in my media or apps area.

That new Assisted Driving View looks great.

We still need to know when it will be available for those with earlier versions.

I really, really want the assisted driving view but my SA told me I need to bring the car in for some other issue to also get the software update.

Does anybody have a good workaround? Not my fault OTA isn’t working...

BMW should allow to display Assisted View all the time for easier lane change to see cars in blind spots. I assumed this only works for driver assistance professional package?

I had the latest software 07/2019.39 installed on Friday and I have driving assistant professional package but no assisted driving view somehow.

That’s the first I’ve seen of a February version. I was an early adopter back in May, and even I got the March version—I cant imagine how bad the February version is

I also noticed I have the Vitalize and Relax modes now in the installed apps. They weren't there when I posted photos earlier in the thread. They show up as "Car Care" on the installed apps.

Picked up the car Saturday, no Connect3ed Drive issues but Car Play has failed to connect 3 times already....

Has anyone figured out how to get the latest update? If it's truly OTA does anyone know how BMW pushes these out to customers?

I'm on version "03/2019.46" and I tried using the Remote Software Upgrade feature within my car and it says no update is available.

That's really strange. I see your temperature isn't in Freedom Units, where are you located? Maybe that has something to do with it?
