Why?! It’s not needed and it ruins the look of the diffuser!

VTEN diffuser which is the one Aerocarbon sells is an absolute pain in the ass to install since they are made for Euro bumpers and require a good amount of modifications to fit US bumpers. Can’t speak to the ease of install on the other one though. IMO the VTEN one looks the best as of now.

I have same exact one installed in my car, got it from EBay, finish isn’t great, fit was a lil challenging but I love it, it looks great installed, plug and play, piggybacks to outter tail light connector, light brinks a few times when you brake then just stays lit, light also blinks when you put on blinker or hazards

I purchased this diffuser but having some trouble figuring out how to wire it correctly.
How did you wire this up? I look at the inner tail light on the trunk and it's a 6-pin connector, different from the one that came with the diffuser. Did you have to splice the wires to connect it? If so, where and which colors matched up? Edit, connectors attached in pictures below. |

If it didn't come in the box and I needed it, I'll probably just splice the OEM harness and wire it up manually. Looks like from others wiring up similar diffusers it goes black to brown ground, yellow to white/purple for power, and red to green for brake light activation signal. |
