37k miles, warranty expired 3 months ago.

Trying to research the code a little, many results point to DMTL pump, but the threads I find are on F30 or older also X5's.

Came on today, cleared it and came back up immediately on startup. Im reading about TSBs for free replacements or warranties up to 100k on the part (if thats the issue) for F30s.

Can anyone point me towards some helpful info or has anyone experienced this and fixed it themselves? I'm out of warranty so if I cant correct it its dealer or independent mechanic, not sure which I'd choose but as a first time BMW owner I've been told over and over not to ignore recommended maintenance or fault codes.
