Got my 330e last week and could not get over 41km per charge whatsoever.
Round trip of 46km to work and back, 10km city and 36 motorway 100-120kmph, outside temps of 10-15 degrees C.
That's with no A/C or any heating on, will be lower as it gets colder outside I'm sure.
51km sounds way too much when they advertise a 60km range. Or maybe that's the individual value which factors in the petrol drive of Hybrid mode.

Well actually, last week I drove 51km pure electric and I stil had energy for 4km in the battery. I didn’t drove slow or without A/C and no motorway. I think 60km is really easy to get with one charge if you drive it carefully

60 kms is reachable if you drive slow and with AC off, and if outside temperatures are around 20ºC. In hybrid mode I got 90 electric klms (56 miles) with one charge last week, total driven 350 klms, electric 90 klms.

Dealer said might have something to do with the spec, since I put everything possible in it but I doubt that very much. Probably poor range due to Irish climate and just always cold. Had the car in the eco-est of mode (individual where it "optimizes" lights, heat, to use less etc) and drove quite relax with the auto cruise control on too.
Cold battery = bad range, was told if I can plug in for 10 mins that preheats them and the range is better but can only charge at home
Might get 50km in the 2days of the Irish summer where it hits 20C haha

The Sweden is not better, bad rolling roads, noisly , and cold. I have mine in garage 15+ and preheat 15 min before i go to work.. i get maximum 51 km i think the car gets good range if you drive 70-81 km/h and not faster.. it says ca 16-18 kwHh

Ok the 70-80 might do it, but on the motorway I'm doing 100-120 which probably drains faster.
I did notice Adaptive mode manages to squeeze 1 or 2 km more if using navigation also, it's supposed to account for hills and stuff and kick in petrol mode based on your route (hybrid also does that so not sure what the point of adaptive is?)
Did anyone find a way to get exact % of battery except for that gauge on the right that only has 100/75/50/25? Why can't I see the exact % like on the F30 dash bah

I got word from the dealer I can pick up mine next week. Finally! They promised me I would be driving the first week of September.

I'm wondering: how do you measure electric range if you drive in hybrid mode? Pure electric I understand but how does it work in hybrid? Does idrive show you how many km you drove purely electric?

I'm having a 60 km daily commute of which 98% consits of cruise control freeway, hardly ever driving faster than 100 kmh. Currently my E90 325i is around 1l/13,5km on average, with peaks at 1l/16km during summer. If I'm able to get such mileage out of an 15 year old 6 cilinder, oh boy I'm really looking forward to what I'm able to do in the 330e.

Are you sure it’s 55km electric from one charge or since Factory? I have my set at set after each charge so it shows that. I maybe did 45km today on electric, so it was better Than the 30 it Said in the app and the infotainmentsystem in car..

Alltså finns att visa bränsleförbrukning sedan du fick den, eller att den nollställs sen du börjat köra, sen du tankat sist, sen du laddat sist osv

haha fair enough.. I was driving not exactly like a grandmother today but close enough, and got 49km out in hybrid mode. so 30km was a estimated lie I guess.

Right after buying, I would get an indication of 46 km range on electric. That lowered to 43-42 now after a couple dozen charges. I drive it quite leisurely.

Still wondering if this is normal. If it would be 10k more it would have been excellent. Now there can be some range anxiety for me.

Not sure if people are driving in Hybrid mode which uses the petrol engine to assist randomly which "increases" the electric value instead of driving in Electric/Electric individual mode only. That's the only way to get an accurate battery only range.

I am indeed driving in Hybrid mode so the total distance driven is always longer than the 'electric range' indicator.

Both in Hybrid mode and Electric mode, there is regeneration upon lifting the accelerator or applying brakes so actual range is indeed slightly more than predicted (e.g. 45 instead of the 42 indicated).

In eco pro, the car will coast upon lifting the gas rather than using re-gen.

Regardless, in terms of total range electric only, I do not think it makes much different in which mode you check the numbers: only when accelerating very hard will you use the electric motor and the combustion engine simultaneously. Otherwise it's always one or the other.

Driving electric or hybrid, the number of electric kilometers indicated when the battery runs out is roughly the same in my case...

To be honest I find it a bad quality and pretty useless video.

Ok so I drove in OLM (old lady mode) today to check the range thing and yeah with the speed set up to 80km max, got 46km in electric only and with about 4 km left in the battery.
It is possible I guess just to say you can but not really sustainable in real life unless you're always driving on slow roads and no motorways.
Sorry Greta
