Fog lights for 2020 330i?

Just traded my 2017 430i for a 2020 330i and there are no fog lights. They are available to retrofit, but I cannot find a video showing the process or any written instructions. Can someone direct me please and thank you!

Maybe you can help me with another question. Will I need to purchase wiring harnesses to install the new fog lights or will the wiring already be in place, just unused? Thanks.

Looking at the BMW parts catalog the fog light wiring harnesses should be already installed. I looked up a G20 without fog lights and these are the part#s listed for the harnesses. I than looked up my G20 that has the fog lights and the harnesses are the same part#s. You will need the headlight switch with the front fog light button. I also think you will have to have LED fog lights coded so they work.

Thanks @mikeyb74. Looks like 61319461140 is discontinued...at least in the US. If the wiring is already in place, I may be able to alter the unlabeled fog light button on my switch, based on videos online.

It supercedes to 61315A16B18 which is on backorder out of Germany. I work for a BMW center parts department.

Sorry I have so many questions, but here’s another. Any leads on how to code new front fog lights for a 2020 g20? I have the BimmerCode app and a VeePeak OBD2 scan tool, which I’ve already used a couple times on the G20. Thanks in advance.

If I add foglights to my G20, which did not come with foglights, is it even necessary to complete any coding?

Hoping someone can answer my question about coding fog lights. My 330i currently does not have fog lights, so I am exploring ordering the fog lights and the bezels and am assured by someone knowledgeable that the necessary wiring is already in place, but I need to make sure I am able to code the car so they’ll even work. Appreciate any help.

Hi guys/gals, just bumping this thread back alive to see if this is regarding the same fog lights I'm looking for. The newtis.info link above no longer works (says site is closed?) and I can't see what was referenced. I'm looking for the fog lights shown below. Another user in a thread I started mentioned that this is from the Luxury Line of the G20 and is available in Asia, Australia, and maybe Europe(?).

If anybody knows the part number for these fog lights so I can purchase them, it'll be immensely helpful. Also, going based mikey's response above, it's almost guaranteed that the wiring harness is already there?

While typing this, I tried digging around realoem's site for the fog light part number and this came up - 63177433787 and 63177433788. Are these the correct fog lights? Doing a quick google search of those part numbers yield images of either the M340i or 330i M sport package with different bumpers, so I'm not sure if this is correct or not.

The M340i does not come with fog lights it has the area as venting only. 330i's should be 63178089525, 63178089526. Although looking at the photo earlier in the thread they both look like the same lights.

I would like to retrofit my 2022 shadow line M440i (US Spec) with fog lights as well. I had my local dealer look up the part numbers for the 430i “shadow line” fogs, bezels, and wiring harness, as I believe that the bumper cover is the same as my car. I was doing fine until I saw that the wiring harness running up each fender is a different number than the corresponding 430 part number. My concern is that BMW may have deleted all necessary wiring for the fog lights similar to the situation with the rear fog lights. I want to understand this before I spend $$$$$ for a bunch of parts that end up just being paper weights. I’ll post when I figure out a bit more.

Has anyone else tried adding fogs to a G22 M440 (US spec)?

Foglights Retrofit G22

Any updates, I'm interested too hoping to gain cornering lights to help out the dim standard LED headlights!

Rear Fog - G20 - coding failed

I bought a Euro rear fog light switch, it plugs and plays for the switch but unlike my F10, where the fog lights were built into the taillight, I could not find this to be true about these new taillights in the G20. I read I need European taillights for that integration, on top of coding, which I did code them but no luck.

So there is yet to be anyone who has successfully added fog lights to a G20?
