So, OP: Care to answer the question? Otherwise we'll assume you were being a left-lane hog and, well, the P-car you so vehemently hated on had some cause to do what he did (at least from my point of view).

Full disclosure, podnah ... 'cause as much as you apparently dislike Stuttgart's finest, the entire continent of Europe will pretty much move over for one in the left lane. Even in Italy ... ::ducking::

After giving it some thoughts, I am speculating OP may have even tried to block the P car in question unsuccessfully from the left lane he was occupying. The P car just took off on him and merged into his lane.

He shoots.... he misses by a mile. Neither one of us changed lanes except me about 200 yards later when I put on my left indicator (yes - I know how to use it) and turned left from the left lane because that's what you do.

This is hilarious. A bunch of really angry people attacking me for "judging" someone's actions that I saw in real life, but all those angry people are running around trying to judge me based on their imagination and projections of what they think or hope I was doing so they can justify their judgement.

I bet the irony is lost on most of them too

I WAS in the left lane because... I was about to turn left. I figure that's a reasonable reason to be in the left lane, considering you cannot turn left from the middle lane on this road (which was where the Porsche was the entire time...)
