No. The 4 and i4 etc... have been set in stone for around two years.

BMWs new design philosophy——-small narrow taillights and big fat grilles.

Im honestly digging the rear "mini 8 series" vibe. Although I doubt the grille would be as "in your face" like that haha.

Are they trying to drag this out longer with a concept and not a production vehicle.

BMW concepts typically stay pretty true to the production cars so it will be 90-95% identical to what we'll see with the real thing... it was that way with the F32 4 series concept, at least.

But what if that 5 to 10 percent is the grille!

Not sure how many people looking at this thread actually own a G20. It struck me only yesterday when walking towards my car an M Sport Plus that the grill shape 'effect' already transitions below the number plate/bumper line and manifests in a revised dam/grill contour. Perhaps the large grill perception is an exaggeration of this. In Europe the pedestrian safety rules might impact the ability to grow the grill and hence the bonnet line in height any further.

Just saying......

Strong possibility (...that the two indents/curves in the lower mesh indicate the shape and placement of the large grills since the indents/curves are congruent with the upper grills).

Edited and clarified for the reading impaired.

die a hero or live long enough to become the villain...

Huh? Didn't you read what he typed? I'm not doubting the introduction of large grills. I think both of you might need a reading comprehension lesson (....but, I still love you guys ). Lol! He said that the lower portion mesh grill of his current car possibly showed signs of where/how the large grill will be designed relative to the smaller grills because of the two curved/indented portions on the lower mesh (...and that crash standards impacted lengthening of the grill upwards, or raising the hood/bonnet). At least that's my understanding of his post.

I think she saw the 4 series grille at the 3 minute and 42 seconds mark.
