Why care at this point? You were happy enough with it to do the deal and that is all that matters. Congratulations on the new M340i. Good luck, enjoy and be safe.

You would be way better off financing this. You’re paying 1250 effective or 45k total to rent a 70k car for 3 years and 36k miles. Do you think it will be worth more or less than 25k at the end of your lease term?

Financing is the way to go on these, leasing is a pretty bad deal.

I agree with Panscan, this is not a great deal and makes zero sense. 45K to rent? Buy it.

I have a business and this will be my business car. Also, if someone hits me or i wreck it, it becomes harder to sell or trade, so i’d rather not be responsible for that headache. Just a little background, I have always bought used cars, most expensive being my 2010 Maxima i drive now that i bought for $11k 8 years ago lol. I now have a job that allows me to buy a 60-90k car so i was stuck between this, a M3 or a IS350. Decided to go with this and work my way upto a M3.

Yes the liability for loss of value or lack thereof is one benefit of a lease. But you are lighting roughly 10-15k on fire leasing this vs buying. It’s a bad deal but you’re free to do as you please.

Even with the tax savings from running it through the biz, still ugly numbers.

Is it even possible to get a good deal at this time?

Well that is subjective related to what you consider good or not but financing it would be objectively better of a deal.

6% finance rate is not great. But, I get that’s the market and i wouldn’t want to throw all my liquid into a car….i have never bought a new car, and I assume at this time, its impossible to get anything off MSRP.

You should be able to get 2-4% at absolute minimum. 340s were selling for 6-8% off a couple months ago.
Check leasehacker and look at the broker threads

Def would not pay sticker for a 340

Yeah the Leasehacker people were useless. For an M340i they either didn’t respond or were offering basically MSRP with an unknown production week. If you want a base X3 they’re probably helpful.

Be patient, there are brokers on leasehackr offering discounts on builds. Do not pay MSRP for this car.

Yeap, maybe that’s why they aren’t responding back. M340i is a high-demand vehicle. I doubt if there are even any builds on the floor.
