Residual: 61% (36/10 lease)
Incentives: $3,000 ($2,000 loyalty + $1,000 lease)
MF: 0.00182 (inflated from 0.00142; I'm trying to get the base MF)
DAS: $3,300
Payment: $577 (including 9.5% tax)

Note: If I get the base MF, the payment drops to $540. Thoughts on deal?
Base MF would be nice here and shouldn't be hard to get with these tough times unless you have bad credit.

No down payment?
They're splitting the MF with me at 0.00162, so payment drops to $560/month. Credit isn't the issue, they're just trying to make some money in the financing end since they're discounting the car so heavily. Is 12.75% off MSRP average for an M340i or is it on the higher end? Total due at signing is $3,300.
12.75% is good. Any security deposits towards that DAS? Maybe someone else's input here will help as well on this deal.
Thanks! No MSDs in the driveoff.
What's in your DAS? Got a breakdown? Seems high wonder what's included in it.
It consists of $2,500-ish for drive offs ($995 acquisition, first months payment, registration, etc.) and $800-ish towards cap cost reduction.
The cap cost reduction of 800ish you say is essentially your down payment. Cap costs reduction is strictly used to lower your monthly payment.

The deal is good, although I've seen some really good ones here (and those were not during a pandemic). If you feel comfortable with it you can go ahead and sign. I hear sometimes dealers do raise the MF when they discount it heavy, but in a time like this where they are begging to sell cars I'd not budge and make them give me base MF. It'll count as a unit moved for them, and I guarantee you they won't be losing money lol.

I guess I'll rephrase my initial question — is 12.75% off MSRP before incentives an aggressive discount or should I be getting more? For example, in the G05 world, 11-12% off before incentives is considered an excellent deal. Not sure if that's the case here. Is 12-13% average or on the higher end?

It's on the higher end. 10% is what you should aim for before your incentives.

It's a good deal but the dealer def has room to budge more if they wanted.

I posted in another thread my deal. I signed in Nov when MF rates were lower but dealer discounted vehicle more due to changed rates. I also ordered mine.

My payment is $577 w tax included and zero DAS other than first payment and no MSD's. I have 12/36k terms and my MSRP was just under 61k. Hope this helps

Right that was what I was trying to imply as well. In a time like this, the deal has room to improve even though it's good. They are begging for sales right now and as a buyer you are in control at this time.

The deal being discussed sounds pretty good.. getting 12-13% off sounds nice - wonder if you could get an even better deal now due to coronaviris. Car sales have taken a total dive ... they are hurting for business .. this is the time to score a deal if you are able to do it

What options on your car ? Any accessories or M perf parts?

I think dealers are waiting to see auto manufacturers introduce more incentives to them first before discounting further. That's what I'm hearing anyway. Same thing is happening on Wranglers right now. Deals haven't really gotten any better even though inventory is already piling up. One dealer I worked with won't even take a trade right now on any vehicle period. Just another reason I'm glad I leased both of my vehicles ( outside of my 981 Spyder ).

Wife's 320i is up in December and although I'm basically out of miles, it doesn't make sense to get a new vehicle right now as we have only put on 100 miles in the past month. So I'll wait it out knowing there will be insane deals to be had then.

was just in a dealership on the 2nd... they didn't want to make no deals.... best offer 11% on a MY19 service loaner. 🤨 so we just walked out.
SaLes manager basically gave us spiel- BMW IS holding strong- no weakness lol.... no breaks being felt from the top. so nothing to offer us.

What a joke. You should send him the article they posted here about the 15% Q1 sales hit they took and ask him if he wants to reconsider.

So I'm jumping back into the world of BMW.

I reached out to my local dealer to get a price on getting a dravit gray build loaded and here is the breakdown I got so far. It doesn't include all the details (I requested more info but haven't heard back yet).

MSRP: 67,470
Discount: 1065
Rebate: 3000

12k miles/3 year lease

With 2k down I'm looking at $865 a month. From what I've gotten so far it doesn't look like I've gotten any money off pre-tax aside from an addition $1000 from where I work. How should I go about opening the conversation to get a better deal off msrp? I've already listened to a 5 minute spiel about how this car is "truly one of a kind" last I spoke on the phone. (I don't think it is, it's dravit grey with black rims and cognac interior)

It was easy with my last car because the car was in inventory. This is a custom build so I'm curious on the wiggle room. Additionally I plan on doing the Performance Center delivery, I think I read somewhere that your Destination and Handling charge is waived if you do the PCD, is that true?

Thanks guys and I'll provide an update once I get a better break down of costs.

$1k off for a discount is a joke. Bet they have a $999 dealer fee aka profit.

Destination and handling fee is not waived for PCD. That's what is used to pay for PCD.

You can go to a different dealer.

That discount is an insult. I don't get offended easily, but if a dealer offered me that I would be offended. You're essentially getting 1.5% off MSRP pre-incentive. Your pre-incentive discount should be in the ballpark of 8-12% off.

My lease is also 36/12k with an MSRP slightly higher than yours and I also qualified for $3k in incentives, the only money I put down was towards 1st month payment, fees, and MSD's, and my monthly payment is $657.

Horrible deal. People are getting an M4 CS with a 106k msrp for a cheaper monthly than that right now. In the 750s...

That's a joke. I bet if you use TrueCar right now for the same dealership or another in the same metro area you'll get at least 2k off before incentives/rebates without trying.
