Hey there - I went with the H&R set along with SPL front and rear end links. I’ll be happy to provide feedback and a review after driving for a bit.

IMO they are all going to be somewhat similar in terms of flow and the impact on driving experience in an otherwise stock car. I agree with Mike, I would drive toward not dealing with the catless fuel smell and no CEL regardless of the suspected minimal impact on performance.

There was a discussion on F80 forum on this and someone HAD done a comparison. I've attached image - it compares stock, 200, 300 cel and catless).

It clearly shows a 300cell flows less than a 200cel (not a lot, but there IS a difference). So there are clear differences. I am looking at a DP which won't throw a cell, there's a few (not just AA) they typically are using GESI cats, and I'd like to know which of them flow better. I want the best bang-for-buck, so this would be great information to have.

Of course ALL these DP will flow better than stock, so obviously I'll get better response from an after market DP. I am just trying to maximize the benefit.

Interesting. I'd want to know more about the comparison in terms of other variables but it's interesting to know what the delta is assuming all other variables are the same.

There are other guaranteed no-CEL DPs out there. I have one (MST). But finding someone to do that very specific check of non-CEL creating DPs is going to be a trick. I mean, unless you want to do it

The performance shop I do business with was doing some prep work for Monday’s appointment. H&R sway bar set states the following, does all this have to be taken off?! Coil packs?! I guess I should have done more due diligence but damn.

Just for some sway bars, that sounds excessive but I haven’t even seen a YouTube video on anyone doing this for our chassis… or even in the forums

Some of it seems a bit excessive but then it again it’s around 20 hours of labor (11 front, 9 rear I think). I’m very excited to hear your feedback. SPL end links were a great choice. I have those and several other SPL parts on my G37, all high quality.

That’s aboustely insane considering I installed the front and rear on my AWD Q50 in less than 2 hours. Not comparing an Infiniti to a BMW by any means but it blows my mind how much BMW hides these. I don’t think I’m having them installed on Monday considering the labor quote is $2500. Lol

I love SPL parts man, I have the full kit on my Q50 along with RS-R coilovers. It’s a fun setup! I had a G37 as a lease, such a fun car!

I ended up returning the sway bars and end links, was happy to get 90% of my money back (shipping + restocking fees).

The Active Autowerke catted downpipe along with the AWE resonated exhaust are installed. It sounds so F$%&ing good! Extremely happy! I love this car so much lol

You were one of two people on the entire forum who were about to install sway bars, lol. Now only one is left to determine if in fact labor is 14-20 hours.

Nope. Nope nope nope. That list is a whole lotta nope. Hell, on my last car which was an Audi, the hardest part (also the easiest) was dropping the subframe on the rear end and installing new TTY bolts. The front was a 34mm bar (heavy as hell too) and fit in the front without disconnecting anything. Far cry from this nonsense. Good lord.

Just an update, DP definitely does not affect gas mileage (as it shouldn't but you never know). Just returned from KY and got 34mpg going up and 31 coming back, saw over 36 at one point when we were just interstate driving. We would have had a 500mi tank easy as I refilled at 440 with 89 left on the guessometer, but we were stopped for breakfast and it didn't make sense to stop again in an hour.

I couldn’t believe it man, damn shame indeed since sway bars are normally a great bang for your buck.
