Sounds like it man. I mean it doesn't hurt to ask your CA what happens if you change your mind about color. They may even have something close to your build and color preference en route or on the lot. Worst case you just keep your original build.

It's still a awesome color....

I'm starting to regret the Portimao blue, since BMW marketed that color, means it will be everywhere soon!

Even the 330i with Msport package... should have went Dravit Grey!!

I should have went with my original Dravit color plan but afraid it will be a nightmare to match paint if there's an accident. Mineral Gray looks good too but it's a common color on the road.

Yes I went with the run flats. They had a car there with the spare tire and it took up too much trunk space for me.

My issue is I can't really decide if I'm happy with the rims. I do NOT want 4 wheel drive (more reasons than fit this thread), but I do live in the DC region so we have reasonably cold winters, and do get some snow. As such, I'd strongly prefer all season tires. My 2016 340i had a square setup (225s all around). This never made me happy. I really like the staggered look in the rear and I found the 340i to be severely traction limited in 1st gear. The M340i will be even worse I presume!

Herein lies the delimma: if you require a staggered setup with all seasons, 1PE with 790M rims is the only choice. Has anyone seen these rims live? How do they look?

I LOVE the look of the 792M rims (at least online), but if you require a staggered setup, the are summer only, arg!

Any suggestions for how to settle this mental quandary??

TIA!
I just put a deposit on a Portimao blue M340 with 792ís. Canít wait to get it!

I debated and debated and decided to go with 792M non-rft with the spare. Getting real summer performance tires from the factory is worth it otherwise I would end up buying aftermarket. To me the trunk is huge and losing 4.5" of height from the spare doesn't make any difference for 99% of use and having a spare is nice. If I need the height for some reason I'll take it out but I bet that will virtually never happen as we also have an SQ5.

I really like the 791M but with all the cerium grey pieces I think 792s fit the car a little better (unless you are blacking out all trim) and they are more sporty. 791s will be easier to clean and are more stylish except for the all black option which is yuck IMO.

See posts 136-138 for with and without the spare.

I've seen both in person, and it really eats into the trunk volume.

792M wheels are the best looking ones.
