At least you are getting updates of a sort on a weekly basis.
On an optimistic basis it is not uncommon for BMW to move production forward either.It all depends on their production sequences and they shuffle production weeks about to reflect demand.Mine was confirmed for wk 28 for weeks on end then suddenly got brought forward to wk 26. only a couple of weeks I know but every little helps! Yeah hopefully. Rang NHS Fleet. They said because it's public sector ordering team and not retail, can't track it in the same way (when I asked for BMW order number).

So just have to hope for the best. Long wait though.

She also thinks it's possible because of the special public sector process there's a possibility the options that are being removed might remain. Though I'm certainly not getting my hopes up on that front haha.

I am in the same boat as you...I have ordered through a leasing company to put through my own business and I cannot get an Order Number either.

I just wait for 17.05pm every Friday for the email that says it has been ordered, what I have ordered and that it is due 6th September 2021....hasn't changed in the last 5 weeks

It's my understanding if you ordered from the main dealer. You can ask for a BMW order number and use the web chat function on BMW to chat to a guru who will tell you what stage it's at.

Mine is a lease vehicle so the provider sends me an email weekly.

I enquired about the options and here is the response.

Btw Mincher, on your original post. I sympathise, although personally I think getting your new to spec BMW is always a bit special, don't you think? Suppose it really depends on what you're coming from and why you got this G20 on order, but missing a few options isn't so much the end of the world?

Completely agree. I was super excited, I think just having read forums about the sound system and the fact I will be waiting another 4 months for it has dented me a bit.

No doubt once it's nearly here I'll be unable to contain myself haha.

Currently in a 69 plate Volvo V90. Lovely car, very comfortable inside, can be abit stiff on the road. Gearbox isn't great though, can sometimes hold gears way too long.

Curious, how long did it take between finding out it was at 9630 and it flipping to 9650

Through genius, I just found mine went into 9630 yesterda. whilst I’ve been told delivery week of 18th October up until now, genius said expect delivery in 2 weeks, which seems reasonable. Only thing I can think of is that I’ve heard park lane has somewhat faster PDI and delivery that happens in Southampton, as they are part of BMW UK?

Some dealerships pay BMW (UK) to do the PDI and plating at Southampton when the cars arrive and then transfer them to the supplying dealership for delivery to the customer which can speed up delivery. My supplying dealer doesn't do that they PDI, prep and plate the cars once they get them on site.
Because BMW Park lane is essentially BMW (UK)s showroom if you like they will, I'm guessing, have the PDI, prep and plating done at the distribution centre on the dockside.

I guess it depends where the car is ultimately going. My Park Lane car was prepped at Thorne for delivery to Leeds so I assume it came into Immingham.

Most likely will have come into Immingham. Then to the BMW Distribution Centre at Thorne. They all used to a while back. Now I’m led to believe if the cars are destined for dealerships in the North or Scotland they still do, any going to dealerships from the Midlands down over tend to come into the UK via Southampton.

There was a car transporter on fire on the motorway this morning in Southampton. Looked pretty totalled. Fingers crossed it was not shipping BMs.

Whilst they are similar the list of codes you've posted is for BMW NA not for us here in Europe! There may be slight differences in the definitions for the codes?
