Like some, I am also going to disagree about the option being useless.

-It works great as designed
-None of my Samsungs ever overheated or got warm
-Perfect place to keep the phone while charging and it especially works great on long trips if you are using apps like Waze & etc
-Not sure how some of you drive but if you drive like a normal human being, phone perfectly stays in place.

IMO, overheating issue is nothing but an Apple / iPhone thing. I am not a fan of iPhones but my other half is and when she put her phone in there, it gets crazy war. So as stated above it is not a BMW issue but rather an iPhone issue.

Overall, I highly recommend this option vs aftermarket or cable charging.

The card lets you enter/start the car. Basically the same thing you can do with your phone. I may be wrong, but I think it was pulled for 2022 due to the chip shortage.

Works great on my Samsung note phones. Its a must have! Does not over heat and charges super fast. If you don't have it.. you had your chance. If you ordered an car and could get it, and you turned it down, and then wanted it, you made a mistake! Well you would have found it a great option anyway. Do not believe all you hear about it.. Most of it is user error or outdated phones being used or software on ones phone not being updated.. I do understand its not available anymore, but it will be back and then you can experience its great charging power and convenience.

I’m not sure how one can have “user error” on a wireless charger…

User errors.. car charger not selected to be ON in i drive 7 settings. Phone not quite fitting space to hit charge point, wireless charge set to off on phone settings, car looks to have correct charger tray, but symbol in tray does not have the right logo or led charge light, the list goes on.

Can someone speak to the wireless charger from the aliexpress website? Does it charge the phone decently fast or is it a slow charger? It looks like it simply plugs into the 12v accessory spot and still allows the usage of a usb correct? How is the fit and finish on the item?
