I think buying used is generally a good idea, especially when the car is just a couple years old. But at 45k miles in a BMW? Only justifiable in some M car you're not going to daily drive.

I've heard reliability has improved since the times of the E-chassis models, but that many miles in a BMW just seems to be asking for trouble.

Exactly!! Every time I see videos of the exhaust on the 2020s, I shutter. Who would want their beautiful car to sound like that?? Sounds like a shitty exhaust on a rice burner. The 21-22 is deep and throaty…ooo yeahh

Traded my 2020 m340i with 6,000 miles in July for my M440i convertible.....dealership resold it in 2 weeks for $5,000 more....and the exhaust sound is sooooo much better....
