Stuck in Quality Check - Status 155

As I write this email, I am still waiting for the car I ordered in June.

As I noted in a previous post, I received a notice from the dealer back in October advising that my car had actually shipped and was enroute to Halifax.

A month later I received the following update from said dealer:

"However, it seems the car is still at Germany Port. My system showed it was on boat with expected delivery in November at one point and then reverted back to German Port. BMW gave us an update while I was away and it seems your car as well as several others are stuck at the port waiting for a recall to be performed. It seems there was a supplier issue with a batch of modules and they are waiting for the part to be corrected before it ships from Germany. They did not provide us with an ETA on this retrofit."

Almost a month later and no further updates. Apparently being notified that the car has shipped is not a guarantee it will arrive

. I suppose I should be thankful that they are fixing the faulty modules before I take delivery!

Week 42 I believe, things have been delayed so many times I'm not so sure of the timeline anymore🤪

My 330xi that entered Quality Check today is showing "no open issues" on that recall search tool. I wonder if this is only an issue facing people with Harmon Kardon. I guess we'll have a data point if mine moves on from QC quickly.

I think the RAM issue does only affect the HK audio, so if you don't have HK or other issues you may go sailing right through.

Thank you! Decided to go all in on a loaded 330 instead of an M340 for now. Pricing on the M340i leases are just wild with no incentives right now. Nearly $2-300/more than before the shortage issues.

Congrats! I also have no open recalls on my 2022 330i and have been stuck in quality check since November 2...I wish the dealer or Genius knew what the hold up was but it seems factory to dealer communication terrible!

Ordered my wifes 430 convertible in August,was a week 40 build. Stuck in Quality Check since 10/29. Dealer confirmed yesterday the car is being held up do to a module that's not available.
She's pissed because we both ordered new vehicles the same day,I took delivery of my X3MC in Spartanburg on 9/29 and she's stuck waiting for hers. Hopefully it'll be here by end of January

I was stuck at Final Assembly since Nov 11th, today the status changed to Ready for Transport. I think my issue was software for the touchscreen removal. Hang in there.

My VIR didn't show touchscreen removal. Just passenger width and lumbar delete. Looks like I'm doing okay on deletions.

After being on Quality Check since November 2nd, my car finally moved to Final Assembly today. Looks like my only deletions are passenger lumbar and BMW digital key, thankfully. Does anyone know how long it takes from Final
Assembly to get to the VPC in Baltimore? Hoping for end of the month but I don't know if that's unrealistic.

Your post made me realize mine is also coming from Mexico. Does anyone know how long it takes from the Mexican port to East Coast?

Congratulations. What was your build week? German or Mexican build? Harmon-Kardon? I'm currently at 5 weeks- German build, week 43, M340ix, waiting on the H-K amplifier retrofit.
