Mine came with black rims, so not sure if they had different tyres for the rims when they swapped them. Initially the salesmen said they were non-runflat and there was a puncher repair kit (i think it is one that blows the tyre up till you get it fixed), but when we were checking he called a technician who confirmed I had the run flats. |

No wonder you don't like them, totally unsuitable for 340, maybe suitable for 320.
They are a quiet and comfort tyre, not a sports tyre like the Michelin pilot sport 4S. I'm sure these were fitted by the selling dealer, not by BMW. |

It's been bugging me for a while but my driver's side door is very slightly out alignment in that it does not close so it is flush with the rear door (by about 2mm).You would never really notice unless you were really looking closely.
So I did some googling and all you need to do is adjust the door plate latch on the b pillar. So I went and bought myself a T40 star screw driver and and adjusted down 2mm and in .5mm and now its perfect. Very easy job and now it is perfect. |

I normally check once a month, but I hadn't checked since I bought the car in February. I pumped them all to 40 |

Pirelli P Zero run flats for my late 2020 build. Would have been nice to have Michelin’s, but these will do...for now.

Since I got my update and now use Android Auto, I noticed that if the map throws a beep or warning (like going a different way to the suggested route) the app next to it, in my case a podcast player, starts playing even if it was paused to begin with.
I suspect that the code pauses the player, blurts out the warning, then un-pauses. But it must forget to set a flag to see if the player was paused or un-paused before the alert. |

I just tested the music player starting when the Nav finishes an alert (using AndroidAuto), Google Maps does it, but Waze doesn't trigger the same thing.

Does any one else have an issue with auto unlock of vehicle? If I haven't been near the car for a couple of days the auto unlock as I approach doesn't work. Once I have unlocked the car manually with the key, and locked it again, the next time it is fine

Could be your key battery? I noticed my Auto Unlock started to only work when I got really close to it. Within a week I got a battery warning for the key.

I've had some pretty bad luck with mine, which is soured the experience. Even worse I can't get BMW to look at it because of lockdown and because it doesn't affect drivability. So i get to drive around with a mildly broken car.
I have a intermittent helicopter or judder-noise from the fuel tank at low tank levels. See links below thread with video. I'm 90 percent sure I know what it is as some others have had the EXACT sound. Appears to be a software fix of the DME, at least for the x3 and the f30 3 series. It appears they have not fixed it on the g20. Judder! https://g20.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1840993 |

Car went in today to see if they can find why it sometimes makes a judder noise.
I took a 118 i loaner. I know its way cheaper than my 330i but I think I'd go for a Mazda 3 or a golf. The tech is nice but its a bit gutless in the mid range and the ride at low speed is not great. |

Dealer could not replicate noise. Reprogrammed modules with the latest istep. I had the noise again but was only very short. Such a weird design/engineering fault. |

Unusable reverse camera
At dusk, in parking garage or at night the reverse camera is absolutely and dangerously unusable with very poor reverse lighting. I ordered compatible Brighter LED globes online under to discover after removing the rear lenses that I was unable to access the globes. Does anybody else have this issue as it’s pretty annoying

[QUOTE=erawamai;26414351]So far so good *crosses fingers*
- some very very light whining noise from the engine bay on light throttle applications. This is probably normal. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- I had the same issue the other day. Not sure if its from cold temps (33 deg F) or just that it's been a couple of months since its acted up and it feels like now is a good time. None the less I stopped, shut down the car, open and closed the door, and restarted. The noise was gone. First time this happened hopefully the last. *crosses fingers* |
