Idk, I have s5. So far great for daily. With apr its an animal. Unless you track your car i feel like numb steering is totally irrelevant.
When you daily drive 0 to 60 stuff dont even matter. I also spent one winter on summer tires, never got stuck in snow on my s5. Can't say the same for my x5 running all seasons. Not saying bmw is bad, just my experience that's all. |

Agree that summer tires in winter is just dumb. That being said, your S3 more than likely didn't perform as well due to haldex vs torsen. His S5 is always going to fair better in slippery condition regardless of tires/season.
