15% off?!? That's very aggressive on a new car, I thought 10% was the target, be careful if the store is overcharging on fees and inflating the MF (lease rate) they love to pump those up

Today my nephew just got a 430 x drive sport $57k msrp $599 36/10k sales tax included, $2k out of pocket

I'm will get the details later today, he needs a ride to the dealer to pick it up

10% target is pre incentive and I'm pretty sure the 15% includes incentives. There's no way anyone's getting 15% off pre incentives on 4er

So after days of negotiating, I have settled on a lease deal for my first new BMW!

The experience started off with the 2021 430i xDrive, but after a test drive of the M440i I had second thoughts and decided to work on an agreement on the M440i.

Agreed to deal:

MSRP - $64,870
Sale Price - $57,451 (includes $2,500 incentives)
% Off - 12% w/ incentives

Is 2500 the deposit you had to put on the build? My CA said 2500 was the minimum deposit for a build

I'm pretty sure your CA is lying to you. There is no minimum deposit for a build.

My car is a custom build. No deposit and no down payment involved in my deal.

March 2021 Lease Program:

2021MY

430i / M440i (2021MY)
15k miles / 54% residual
12k miles / 56% residual
10k miles / 57% residual

$1500 lease credit
$500 loyalty

Do we think residual percentages will go up leading into the warmer months? Is that what the trend is?

Talking

hi
we already know this.. what about money factor in April for those of use who want to lease and APR credits for those of us who buy our cars? thats the hard to find information, finding residual is easy, where can we find the information that the dealers don't tell us? thats what we really need!

each dealer sets their own deposit requirements but often are negotiable .. in most states, if not all, the deposit is refundable so in essence deposits really have no true meaning.. I personally like a deposit ( small one) because I know that it ties me to the car and I never cancel orders and you have it at the end to reduce your drive offs. if you put a deposit just put as small as you can.. mine wanted $ 1000 and I said $ 500 and they said ok..

I did ask my CA about this and you're right, it's refundable at the end

Well I must be the worst negotiator on this forum, round 1 talks I could only get a 5.3% discount. The car and color options are much more stunning in person. Holding out for a better deal, negotiating tips appreciated.

Curious what others are seeing/getting off invoice?

My order is about to arrive— want to be extra prepared. Currently locked in at 8.21% off invoice.

Curious if I should push my luck for 10% given the soft May programs, or stick with the 8.21 and on March program numbers when I ordered.

March numbers are better than they are now. I was able to get 9.5% on April’s numbers but only on custom order. Few dealers have ones I wanted, spec’d almost to exactly as my build but would only budge 2-3% given the limited inventory. I’d say if your okay with 8.21% just stick to it…
