My 2022 m340xi been stuck on production begins from sept 15 now its oct 1 and still no movement, call the 1800 number and their est completion keeps on pushing back is this normal?

I would advise you prepare yourself for a long wait in positive ways. A 15 day block of staying on one little dot is par for the course. Sometimes it will remain on one dot for a long time and then jump 4 dots all at once. I suggest you not check as often, put it out of your mind and be patient.

Did you guys go to your dealer and place the build order or online? I tried building out a M340 from BMW.CA here in Canada and they're still showing 2021s no 2022s. Plus most of the colors are missing - No option for Tanzanite Blue Metallic either.

In the states, you work with the dealer to place the order. You get a build code and the dealer can see what options you chose and you finalize with them. Regarding Tanzanite Blue Metallic, the dealer would need to have an allocation for a German factory-build vehicle.

The chip shortage is affecting all sorts of productions and options. A few weeks ago the adaptive m suspension was removed from the list.

They told me the car would probably be there tomorrow or Monday at the latest.

Thanks. Dealer confirmed he can order it even if its not on the site yet. Will head over tomorrow to pencil her in !

Certain options, like the HK sound system, are being removed from 330i and under, but may still be available on m340i and up.
