No seats but carbon roof and acoustic glass are possibilities (still not guaranteed though).

You’ll never see anything other than xDrive in dealer inventory in Chicago. I just picked up a CPO RWD 2018 340i M Sport and I had to go to Texas to get it.

+1 - RWD G20s are easy to find in the south and west.

Wow the pre-LCI G20 looks ancient in comparison.

But nostalgia (e.g. analog gauges!) was one reason to get my G20 330i, so I may sit out G20 LCI, and wait for the H20(?) BEV.

E.g. solid state battery with 500+ miles of range and 10 minutes charge time for half-full.

So we'll need to mess with touch screen for climate control adjustment, heated seats ? Absolute trash ... Even Audi came back to the buttons on the newer EVs...

No integration of the screens in the dash is really lazy... no effort...

+1, if that's the new dash no chance in hell I'm buying one.

What is the average lifespan for a BMW powertrain? The B58B30O1 has been around since 2019 (though I acknowledge the B58 as a "family" has been around since a few years prior).

The transition to TÜ2 will begin next summer with G70 and G07, but G20 will continue with the current one at least to 2024, and possibly for the rest of its lifespan.

I hate that screen. Regarding power I don't think BMW feels comfortable increasing the HP making it too close to an M car power wise.

I dont get it. B3 has 462 HP at the moment. So if the LCI gets 490 HP, that means it gets more then the actual pre LCI.

Or what do you mean by comparing the wrong spec?

Agreed that looks like a screen balanced on a ledge. Awful half arsed design for the sake of it.
Even more annoying no shortcut buttons which are so useful.

What a mess. I hope once my lease is over in 2022 I can get a Pre-LCI, because that screen is just absolutely hideous.

It's just a different tune of the same engine, doesn't count as an update in my eyes.

My mistake was not realizing that the current engine also uses S58.

Ah ok thank you. So good news for me, as I will get a B3 since the M3 Touring wont get the trailer hitch.

One more question: are we talking about 490HP or 490BHP ?

Because B3 has 462 HP right now and 456 BHP. So if its 490BHP then the actual HP number would be 497!

Go to Florida or SoCal and you'll see 95% RWD models in inventory.
Lol. This is so true. Up until recently, if you saw an xdrive vehicle here in LA? 99.9% of the time it would have out of state license plates. Never CA or FL lol

Just buy a Tesla and call it a day. Bmw is an engine company after all.

Wouldn't hurt to just make it to an even 400, effortless for this motor lol.

PS, Guess my hope of ZHP edition is nothing but a pipe dream. I thought it was the least they could do since Canadians got their M Performance edition models.

Sucks about the lack oh physical buttons for the climate controls. That’s one thing that pushed me away from Audi.
