Happy to say my car finally landed at VPC in NJ! Still waiting on a stop sale but was informed that estimated dealer delivery is Monday! Finally the wait is almost over, so close!

That's awesome. So, only 3-4 days at the VPC for the audio module fix? That would be very fast.

I'm on a boat, that is due into Port NY/NJ this Monday, 11/8. It's on time from Germany.

I also have a stop sale for audio module. Pretty sure it will land at the same VPC as yours.

Please let me know how long you will actually be at VPC for the fix. That may indicate how long mine will be there.

I got mine from westchester BMW (Ray Catena) and im missing the audio module as well! The genius line made sure to inform me that it's just an estimate and may be subject to change(of course). The excitements really kicking in now hopefully they hold to their estimate!

They had mine installed on the first business day in the Galveston VDC after being unloaded. I hope it goes really quick for you too!

Not surprised. I'd estimate at minimum 7 days for the fix to occur.

As it turns out, I learned over on the M3/M4 forum that there is a difference in these audio updates.

My stop order is not for the RAM module update, but has a different code (defect code 0065600300) and is for an Amplifier Retrofit.

Was never sure what the RAM thing actually was, but there appears to be difference. Don't know if that affects timing for the fix.

Just an update, still no movement. Car's been sitting in NJ for a week now. Anyone else have any movement recently?

Ask your SA to check their internal computer system and ask if you’ve had a work order started. That’s the first stage after arriving at VPC.
The Genius don’t have access to that info.

FYI, that code is for Amplifier Retrofit.

I’m on day 2 at VPC and no work order has been started.

Ok, interesting and good. So, your car arrived at the port VPC on Thursday 11/4 and the work order opened same day. Hope it gets fixed snd closed by tomorrow. That would be 7 days. Keep up posted.

I’m with you, jg4c. I am at 110 days since I placed the order and 42 days since the car left the factory and still no clue when it arrives. Although I know now that the work order for the RAM completed today. It’s been a SLOG.

Completed is great. Your timeline should move to in transit to your dealer shortly.

SA just text me the work order has started today on my car.

Said he’s seen a few cars lately that take up to 2 1/2 weeks to complete.
At this point in planning after Thanksgiving.

My CA just got back to me regarding estimates after contacting VPC. My car will be delivered next week. Hopefully that means it's moving for everyone!
