2020 330i G20 Brake/Caliper Question

New BMW owner here! I was wondering if anyone could give some advice/info on brake/caliper options for a 2020 330i xdrive with m sport package. I really want to upgrade to the bigger m calipers (red or blue). Just not sure where to begin. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Current setup pictured.

There are a couple other threads on this. I’m looking to do the same. There are different size rotors depending weather you have the base setup, M sport brakes or the M performance brakes. I’m still working out the sizes myself so I cant give you a lot of details yet.
I have the same setup as you do. I’m looking to swap the red calipers from my wife's 530 to my 330 and put blue ones on her car

I personally have the performance brakes and I after discussions between individuals who have the upgraded sport brakes the difference is negligible for the cost; I am waiting for aftermarket options.

Those of us with the crappy 1-piston stock brakes however... The M-Performance is a HUGE upgrade (330x24 to 374x36 on the front rotors; 1 to 4 pistons on the calipers).

I'm getting ready just to pull the trigger on the M-Performance setup. To source the M-Sport setup piecemeal from the dealer actually ends up costing quite a bit more. There is the used route, but I'm not a big fan.

helmet91 it's been a minute, but did u go with the M-Performance setup? Do u like it? You mentioned it costs more to just go up to the M-Sport upgrade(?)... so its actually twice the benefit to get the better brakes at a slightly cheaper cost? Even if it prices out a JUUUUUST a little higher, that large caliper with the slotted rotors in the front would make it worth it IMO.

Seriously considering this route with $3K to play with

I actually ended up getting an essentially new set of M-Sport brakes off of an M340 with around 500 miles it it… for $1500. Threw in some Turner stainless lines and Motul 660.

The setup is fantastic. It worked amazing on the Ring with no fade the last 1/3 of the lap like I had on the junk stock brakes.

I’ll probably get some Endless pads next spring and go with ECS discs when the time comes.

Yeah I saw looking into other threads. I've decided to go with just the M-Sport route also. Sweet deal. I'm hoping to score something within the next few months.
