Wait until late 2023 when BMW will be putting 4 ft wide touch screens in all there cars. See all the images Its happening. That's when BMW customers will draw the line, and cars will sit on the dealer lots with winter frost on every screen. talk about Ugly, well that's the designer trend..

No, Im actually making a point that consumers as a group have different tastes. The fact that some think the lack of a touchscreen or gesture control is a non issue is a turn off to others who are ready to purchase. Thats what led me to the car I drive, and a sale for the dealer that had a car on the lot with the options I felt were deserving of a $70K car (more after taxes). Econ 101 Tim.

I understood the point you were making but MY point was that sunroofs are going to be more desirable than a questionable function like gesture control. I hope you also saw the wink emoji.

But back to the original subject of a touchscreen or lack thereof. I almost never use it (hate fingerprints) and if I could get the M340i without a sunroof, I'd delete it. Yes, it's a matter of taste and/or priorities.
