No touch screen option
Received call from dealer today to say that our M440i x drive may not have touch screen when it arrives in December
£500 compensation been offered just incase it arrives with out the touch screen Anybody else had the same call |

man, the used values on these 2021-22 cars will be pretty awful. Will nicely balance out the rise in used prices of cars made before that period.
Id keep driving older car and wait for when they start selling cars again en masse. They are saying they wont, and only sell cars in premium, but this is nonesense.. Tesla already said they will be selling cheaper 20-25k USD car down the road. And when they do, believe you me, BMWs et al will line up and try to sell their cars just as much. This is a problem that will pass, and encouraging this dealership nonsense is unbecoming. Just wait if you can. If you can. |

I've seen the various reporting of this. I have an M440i on order (ordered last week), but not sure I'd tolerate this as an omission for any money. At least not unless a retrofit option was offered. Has your dealer given you any other options - ie, can you take later delivery and still have it? Mine is not expected until Spring 2022, so I'm wondering if this is a current issue for a period, or if it's for the long foreseeable?
