Does BMW require vaccination for its workers? Let's hope so! They require proof of vaccination for their Driving Experience participants.

I'm going to try to forget I even ordered anything. The thrill is gone. I'll update if I get a magic phone call. Good luck and Godspeed, everyone!

Will all be fine, we just need to be patient. I’m most concerned about keeping the low interest rate. At this point whenever the car comes it comes.

Well my friend this maybe some good news finally. I spoke with BMW Genius today. My car has made final assembly and is at the port ready to ship even though my side is stuck in quality check. No open recall and only deletion is key card and passenger lumbar support.

I totally agree with what you are saying! My CA confirmed vehicle ready for transport. So, I did buy myself a one hundred dollar bottle of scotch to tap for WHENEVER the big day happens! For now the wait continues. Week 43 build. Hope yours, moves soon.

Hang in, will all get there! I truly believe their system is all over the place right now. Really, it's out of our control. However, listening to the other guys who took delivery of their new M340i say it's worth the wait.

Of course you meant to write "it's WORTH the wait ! I believe this is true ! When I paid a visit to my dealer a few days ago, I had a close look at the new GC M440ix that was in the showroom. With a black exterior, and black trim this car looks its best, but its overall stying IMO is not nearly as attractive as the M340ix. I was briefly tempted until I tested the GC back seat. Getting into and out of the rear seat of the GC is more challenging due to the lower roof line and the odly cut rear corner window. Headroom and legroom in the back seat is more restricted than in the M340ix. Also, the rake of the GC back seat is more vertical, so it is less comfortable than a 3 Series. When sitting in the GC driver's seat, I noticed the very restricted rear vision in the rear view mirror. I also didn't care for the sightly tinny sound of the frameless doors upon closing. According to BMW's stats, the GC trunk holds 12 cubic ft. while the M340ix trunk holds 17 cubic ft. One more negative for the GC: it weighs 201 lbs more than the M340ix !!! Overall, IMO, the M340ix sedan offers a better overall package for styling, comfort and performance. Being almost 3 inches shorter, the M340ix will be easier to park and being lighter in weight, it will be faster off the line The long wait for my M340ix continues

To offer you all a glimmer of hope - after being stuck in QC for almost six weeks, nearly drove myself crazy calling the genius and dealer every other day who were not very helpful, my car is finally out of QC and is now 'Dispatched From Factory'!
I've checked other subforums this morning but it seems like I might be one of the first to move along the tracker. Our cars are definitely moving along guys, I have no doubt that some of you will get out of it very soon.
