New Order - How do I check deletions?

I ordered an M340i at the end of October. Is there a way to see what the current build sheet looks like to see if any options were deleted? I've seen people report new order codes and things being deleted, but not sure how to see that - does it require going through the dealer? I have been on BMWUSA but all I see is "scheduled for production".

Contact your dealer, but nothing is going to show until it goes into production

you can call bmw genius, they will give you up to date info on any deletions and production info:

BMW Genius Hotline – 1.844.4GENIUS (443-6487)

I called while I was still “scheduled for production” and they were able to look up any deletions (none so far, knock on wood)

The deletions normally start when production actually begins.

that information is from where? bmw has been planning deletions ahead of production for certain models. No harm in calling bmw genius if someone is curious.

From others I know, my own personal experience, and Genius saying “as of now your car shows no deletions but will know for sure when it goes into production”. And guess who emailed once it went into production, my dealer with code 6UY which is the touchscreen.

You need a VIN to have a better idea of option/delete codes for your vehicle. Once you have a VIN, sometimes the BMW tracking site will show delete option codes, sometimes it doesn't. Use a VIN decoder to learn more. Usually these decoder sites take a few days from VIN assignment to display data for your car. https://www.mdecoder.com/

Makes sense, sounds like it's just not far enough along in the process yet (unfortunately). Appreciate the help.

Festen your seatbelt. It's going to be a bumpy ride!

Haha no kidding. I've tried to mentally prepare as much as I can based on reading the stories here, but I'm not looking forward to it at all.

I think knowing what to expect does make the journey easier. The problem for me has been that they keep moving the goalposts. First I was scheduled for week 37, then bumped to week 42, then week 43. Until recently everyone was moving pretty quickly from "quality check" to "at the port" to "in transit", so when my build got to "quality check" on 11/4, I expected that we might get our car by mid-December. Now I have no idea what to expect. It's the unfulfilled expectations that wear me down.
