I have a 2020 M340 xDrive with a VRSF downpipes and Stage 2 BM3 tune. I've been running the mods for about 6 months. Last month, I started to hear a metal-like rattle coming on cold starts. It has gotten progressively worse. I reached out to VRSF thinking the downpipes has somehow gone bad. They informed me it is a 'waste gate rattle' and they cannot offer a solution as it is very common in BMW's.

Can anyone help? How can I fix this? I am thinking of going back to stock and having BMW take care of it under warranty. Any other suggestions? is this is an easy fix? I am clueless.

I think there's another thread on here, where a guy running mhd was having an issue with his turbo. Not blaming mhd, I used them on my f30 and would highly recommend them. I found their customer service very helpful, have u tried to reach out to them?

Did you ever get this fixed? I have a rattle as well when turning my vehicle on but am unsure whether it's my exhaust valve or the wastegate.

I'm running a VRSF Highflow DP with a Stage 2 BM3 tune aswell.
