Checked the recall tool and found code 0065640300 with no description. Anyone have a clue?

AFAIK:
0065480300 = RAM
0065600300 = amplifier (heard from the M3/M4 forum)

My build is a M440i Gran Coupe if that helps. Could it just be a different code for different model?

Ah, true, that could be.

Then hope it won't take long as it is a software update. But I heard scary news that BMW really rushed this no touchscreen software patch, so they are asking dealers to install the software one car at a time, that way they won't brick all cars at once if a fatal bug happens…

Checked today and both are still open. Car is still at the port in Germany after two weeks being there. : I assume these stop sales will be addressed when it is in the US.

After production finished on September 3rd, my car spent 6 weeks at Bremerhaven port ! No explanations offered by BMW. Now it's sitting on a railcar stuck in Edmonton, waiting for CN Rail service to resume to Vancouver, whenever the copious rains subside

I have the same code on mine. When you go to myBMW does it progress beyond final assembly. My car has been stuck in final assembly since November 11th and this is the only open defect.

Welp, this stop sale along with the RAM retrofit popped up on my build yesterday. At least I'm at the "ready for transport" stage. Sounds like the issues will be addressed stateside. Here's to hoping they'll be quick fixes.

Any movement to the next stage on your vehicle? Mine is in the same situation and stuck at ready for transport. Feels like they make you wait a couple of weeks at every stage.

Mine eventually got on to a ship on Dec 01 with all stop sales still open. That's after ~3 week at the port.

Nope, no movement. But like you I'm assuming it'll sit in that status for a few weeks—seems like every stage is like that. For my sanity I'm trying to forget I ordered a car. 🤣

Got the call from the dealer today that the car is not going to get here this year, most likely early January. My car is the 330e and the bill floating in congress will reduce the tax credit for plug-ins. Usually that is how my luck is.

Not as far as I know. The M440i I ordered has been sitting at the destination port (port Hueneme for US West Coast deliveries) for two weeks, and has that code (along with the other two codes posted by the OP) assigned. According to mdecoder that car has the touch screen delete 6UY. The car also has the H/K audio.

Mines been sat in QC since 9th Nov! RAM now closed but other still open

Are they retrofitting the RAM and amplifier at the origin or destination port?

I was thinking mine had cleared the port but only because I didn't understand the data on the BMW site. It's still due at the port 1/23 and subject to 0065600300.

I think most are being done at the destination port.

One of my local dealers has a pretty nice 2021 that's been stuck at the destination port with 0065480300 since August. It's not sold so I guess it doesn't get any priority.
