New to me G21 320d

70 plate G21 320d M Sport Pro Package - Portimao Blue with Oyster interior, Aluminium Tetragon, Comfort Pack, Technology Pack, Tow bar.

Just under 2,300 miles ex-demo, due to arrive with me in the next week or so.

My 330e went back in May due to redundancy so looking forward to getting back into a BMW (non-company car this time).

Nice - did you have the same packs on your 330e or some new toys this time round?

@a.summers86 My 330e was an M Sport with the 18" wheels also in Portimao Blue with Oyster interior, Aluminium Mesheffect Interior Trim, Technology Pack and extended storage.

So a few extra toys and the 19" wheels with adaptive suspension.

I must admit the comfort pack was the one pack I wasn't over fussed about on mine when i bought it, but actually the auto boot and comfort access is now something I'd always want in my future cars. The heated wheel is a nice touch at the moment as well!

Have you noticed any difference with the 19" wheels with adaptive vs. 18" without?

When I had my G20, mine had the 19" and adaptive but I couldn't tell any difference at all vs. My mates car on 18s without it.

Welcome back! They're great cars, love the Oyster interior (its why I bought mine).

@Beemer5to3 I’ve not got the car yet, it’s hopefully arriving late next week. I went for a ex-demo as I didn’t want a new car with the key tech deleted! As the car has Bridgestone run flats I suspect the ride will be similar to my 330e.

I’ve not had run flats before so when they wear out I assume I can’t mix and match e.g. rears non run flat and fronts run flat. I’d guess I’d need to swap all 4 tyres out at once.

Mine ran Pirelli P-zero run flats and I found them to be really stiff, but it was only over crap local road surfaces - on motorways it was absolutely fine.

You'd notice a huge difference changing to non run-flats, but yeah you'd have to change all 4.

With just 2,300 miles on the clock it might be a while before I need to swap out the tyres

If its t005 turanza tyres you'll be lucky to see 12k miles.

So it's arrived and I'm very happy with the car! It's pouring with rain so it'll be the weekend before I cna take and share some photos.

After a quick 30 minute drive I'm super impressed and there's even a couple of extra bits of tech functionality that I wasn't expecting.

Still waiting for better weather and the car now needs a way before I can take some photos!

I posted about my 330e boot mat in the classifieds a while ago but it’s not yet sold so repeating here for visibility.

BMW Genuine Trunk Boot Fitted Luggage Compartment Mat G20 3 Series 51472461166

Good condition fits G20 330e and has a folding part for the under floor cable storage.

New cost £87.50 looking for ~£40.

Collection only - Winchester UK

@dark_Cobra they are:

Bridgestone Turanza T005
Front 225/40/R19 93Y
Rear 255/35/R19 96Y

So I’m going to check the tread depths once it stops raining. I’m assuming they would be either 7 or 8mm for brand new so it’ll be interesting to see how much is left after 2,300 miles

So after around 75 miles of mostly local town driving I’m happy with how the car rides. In comfort it’s better than my 330e was, it had 18” Pirelli P-Zeros and the passive suspension. I think the additional weight of the 330e made it a bit firm on less than perfect roads. I’m sure it’ll be even better once the run flats wear out and are replaced with some non-run flats
