I love people freaking out about how ugly it is when its a render
I think this gen has great potential. Judging by the F90 the next gen of M cars seem to be moving all in the right direction from a driving dynamics perspective. And I like the headlights giving a subtle nod to the legend I have hope |

No way it looks like that. That looks terrible. It also looks like a bad photoshop job on the F30.

As usual, once released, the masses with flock to it.
Do any of the mouth breathers who consistently spout the same crap about the upcoming models being - 1. Too big 2. Too soft 3. Too much like ____ vehicle 4. Hideous 5. Not even close to as nice as my E___ or F___ 6. Etc. - ever stop to consider that BMW consistently breaks sales records? As surprising as it is for the guys that need a spoon to eat, BMW is actually pretty good at what they're doing. Why does every design feature seem to "grow on people" or "look great in person"? And the next 3-series will be different? Ok. Carry on. |

Could we be so lucky that this one won't have a hockey stick, or even a vent (real or fake) behind the front wheels?

Is it a Lexus or a BMW?
From the rear, you really can't be sure. I also don't like how similar they're making the front end of the G20 to the G30. Let hope these images are far-off from the real car!

I think this is just a bit off but probably 95% of the way there. Kinda like the uncanny valley of a render. Like most, a little disappointed the 3 isn't a bit more innovative this time around. The last 2 generations have been at least a bit unique in design to the rest of the line up. Hopefully the front still has a character of its own, while the rear shares the profile of 50% of new cars.

I think it's sexy. But I also like super big over-sized ladies in high heels and their unshaved arm pits...so you might wanna skip my opinion. Oh yeah, I also love tofu

Well, there are some hints from the E46, which is to me the best 3 ever made, nice start!
I guess, it will be subtle changes from the previous generation, as with the G30, familiar yet more substance and more focus on premium interiour and quality in general. I hope the size will remain, and the weight will keep decent. As for engines, i'd love to see more I6, the downsizing have gone on to long, i love turbo's, but there is a limit to how far you can go. As for me, drivetrain is essential, diesel are very hard to sell these days, so it's gas or hybrid and full EV, should be intresting to see how the new 3 welcomes the future, hopefully it will be another E46.
