A throwback to the age where BMWs had twin round headlights that were physically separared rather than today's which are set underneath one single piece of glass, and a nod to the E46 which everyone seems to be nostalgic about.

Dude the 7 in the tail light had been BMWs design for a long while now. If anyone is copying it's Lexus.

The sunroof ends at the B pillar. The wide angle lens makes it look huge.

Would you get the 19 330i or keep the 328
I have a 2016 328I fully loaded. I love my car. It is on lease and only have 22,000 miles on it. I have to make a decision within the next four months to move up to the 330 I or bye my car. I have never had it in the shop for anything except scheduled maintenance. What do you all think? Is it worth getting into a newer car or buy this one? I am torn.

Little rant.
I get that BMW is trying to create a "futuristic" aesthetic with their line-up, but come on. What happened to the corona rings? They aren't even rings anymore. The hexagons were great, even the "squiggle" on the LCI F30 and G11. But the G20 headlights look exactly like the VW Golf. (Is that small 5mm upper accent supposed to be the differing factor, BMW?) The tail lights don't resemble any of the previous design language BMW used. The design is so minimalist it's hard to attribute it to any automaker, really. At least we still have kidney grilles, the Hofmeister kink, etc. But even the kidney grilles are being morphed into one unit. E30 -> E36 -> E46 -> E90 -> F30, when you look at them all next to each other you see the evolution. Sit the G20 at that lineup and I just think "So, did VW and/or Kia tackle the exterior design?" Interior wise, has anything dramatically changed since 2012? As much of a BMW fanboy as I am, I have to admit Audi and Benz interior design has been leaps and bounds ahead of BMW for awhile now. (Except the new 8 series. Now that's an impressive cave.) So yeah, I'm sure the G20 will "look cool" and all that. But I remember seeing the E46 and getting excited. Remember when they unveiled the E92? That car was pure sex. The F30 practically produced most modern design ques by itself. This car? Meh. It will blend in to the sea of angry robot cars. The vent is still cut out on the fender panel but it is blocked off by the solid bimmerrang and a plastic panel in the wheel well, which used to have a hole connecting to the air vent and to the bimmerrang. So if you really wanted it, you could get a pre-LCI bimmerang and replace the wheel well panel but like I said, if there was such a benefit, BMW would have never removed/blocked the side vent on the LCI.
