Which lowering spring has the best ride?

Hello friends.

Thinking of lowering my car.
My main concern is loss of ride quality.

When i was younger I had a lowered nissan s15 and didnt mind having my brain rattled around by the harsh ride.

Now I am pushing 40 soon and like to ride in comfort.

My car is 2020 m340i xdrive with adaptive suspension.

Can anyone comment of their experience with lowering springs?

No lowering spring improves comfort. They all diminish the comfort and softness of even the stock m sport stiff suspension. The only option to lower and increase comfort is coilover route. The KW V1 route is feasible for those just looking to lower vehicle and improve comfort a tad.
Now with that out of the way, I would say the dinan springs with dinan bump stops are probably the best in terms of maintaining close to stock stiffness.

I will say the H&R springs on stock sport line dampers is a pretty terrible ride. Looks amazing but it is far from comfortable.

Code in comfort plus mode, switch out runflats for normal tires, dinan, cobra, eibach pro kit, all good options for lowering springs.

I am running Eibach Pro Kit on my adaptive suspension. It’s definitely a bit stiffer than the OE springs but tolerable IMO.

How much stiffer compared to stock in terms of percentage would you say the Eibach springs are?

I've just removed H & R springs from mine. The ride was terrible. I'm thinking about trying eibach next.
I like the comfort of the standard adaptive setup but I cannot live with the massive arch gaps 😂

On a percentage scale I would say 30% stiffer. You’ll notice it more at low speeds but surprisingly they ride well on the highway. Since I have adaptive suspension I do keep it on comfort most of the time.

Yup, coilovers will be your better choice if comfort is a priority. It does help a bit if you replace the run flats with standard tires as well.

I've had Dinan springs with my Adaptive Suspension (an go-flat PS4S) for nearly three years at this point. I drive on horrible brick streets every day and haven't noticed anything that is outright uncomfortable or annoying. The handling is definitely improved and makes the car feel more planted at speed (I drive on the Autobahn and the 'Ring fairly regularly).

I have no idea what the roads are like in Australia, but my setup is great in Northern Europe.
