Alexbuilt titanium chargepipe on with pics
Apexbuilt was having a sale back in July so decided to get one of these. Took over 2 months to build and it finally came today. When I put it on; I noticed the C clamp on the chargepipe fits pretty tight in the grooves. Then when I put on the turbo I noticed it was super tight to try to get in compared to the old FTP pipe. I got it on (looks amazing) and went for a drive; the first time I got on full boost I heard a loud "whoosh" and immediate loss in power/no boost. I knew right away the chargepipe came off the turbo. Somehow the pre-installed o-ring also came off the chargepipe. Who knows where it went. Tried to change over the oring from the FTP chargepipe but it doesn't quite fit into the groove on the new chargepipe. For now; had to put old chargepipe back on until Apexbuilt can send a new oring

I was able to get a sale but yes a bit pricey. I was wondering if you would know. I lost the O-Ring and can't seem to contact them for a replacement. I found one that fits at home depot in the plumbing aisle; but it says shouldn't be used for high heat applications. Do you think this would work; or is there a specific oring material I should look for?

Was able to get it up and running! Got the stock o ring to work. It was a little wider than the groove on new chargepipe so I sanded it down a little and then it fit. Was hoping the titanium would have a unique sound...but sounds the same lol.
