Wheels fitment

So I have a question for you guys, I used to have these wheels on my ‘22: Vossen HF-5 and They are on Pirelli Pilot Sport All Season 4. Specs are:
20 x 9 ET 25 (245/35/20)
20 x 10.5 ET 45 (275/30/20)
I had them on that car for a few months and while on the highway doing 60-70, the steering wheels was kind of shaky a little bit, I figured it just needed an alignment. I ordered the whole set from Vibe so they mountrd the tires and balanced the wheels. I had the set put on by a buddy of mine.
Now I have a ‘20, also an M340i xdrive, I brought the wheels to a local tire shop and they said the rear won’t work since they couldn’t fit a finger in between the tire and the inner fender. What do you guys think? Any advice is much appreciated.

Should be fine with those offsets. Go to a different shop.
