AdBlue
I have done just short of 6000 miles since I bought the car and the Adblue is sill showing as 100% full in the i-drive. Is that normal as I would have thought it should have gone down a bit by now ?

I asked the very same question a couple of years ago as mines hardly used any. My car has circa 65K and i have only added ten litres in total since i purchased it at 12k. it would seem it sips the stuff.

Can I ask a very naive question.....
Do all diesels have AdBlue systems now? I suspect they do, and it was all introduced quite recently. I had DERV BMWs from 1996-18, with the last one being a 2008 plate. Since then petrol, save for my truck that is a 2014 plate VW Amarok. Is it a Euro 6 thing?

This is the first Diesel i have had with the Adblue system and suspect you are right Charlie. My previous two cars were diesel (2012 & 2017 respectively) and neither had it.

Its a strange one as the BMW drivers guide tells you if Adblue is replenished during the maintenance schedule it should only require one top up between services - I originally thought my car had some form of problem.
