Exactly, subjective. Only one way to find out unfortunately, lol.

Is the rear lower bar (2 point) a substitute for the rear lower bar (4 point)?

It seems two different mounting points. Just want to make sure I understand correctly.
Check out the pictures on their website.

Rear lower bar (2 point) is towards the back closer to the diff and the rear lower bar (4 point) is in the middle and goes over the factory center brace. I didn't particularly see the need for this one and felt it would reduce ground clearance underneath and I will be lowering my car eventually.

Also still waiting on a response for total costs/shipping, stay tuned.

That is what I thought but thank you for clarifying. We are eager to hear back!

I’d be in! I’m sure I can sneak a few more mods past my wife with out her noticing😃 As long as there’s no major increase NVH she’ll be fine! She doesn’t drive very fast but she does like to rip around the turns❤️

Order placed. Figured I'd take a gamble and provide some feedback for the G20 community since there are not really any reviews.

Trying to decide if I want to install all 5 at once or one at a time with testing in between each.

This will also be a good way to determine if that front member strut engine brace will fit with the MST intake.

They’ve shipped out via FedEx. I’ll start a new thread once I receive them to document the process.

To the original thread purpose of “aftermarket sway bars” is there a rule of thumb on how many hours labor it is to install swaybars on the m340ix (with adaptive suspension if it matter)?

I was quoted around 20 hours total. I don’t have the adaptive suspension so not sure if it’s different.

Wow! That’s more than I had guessed. Was this at a dealer or independent shop?

Independent BMW shop. Subframe has to be dropped.

Another user said 14 hours.
Sounds like if going to a shop, it’s going to be much more labor cost than the parts themselves.

my workshop (in singapore) says its half day effort. those that quote long hours probably don't work on it full time?

I'm not familiar with the G8x specifically, but I would guess that if you DIY, it's not as bad as the full book labor effort would imply. I'm thinking back to when I changed the rear sway bar on my E90 M3, and I was able to simply drop the subframe down about 3-4" to get enough room to swap the sway bar (yes, on the E9x rear, the swaybar is on the top side of the rear subframe sadly). I didn't have to drop the exhaust or even disconnect the rear brake lines. Of course this was on a 2-post lift with the help of a transmission jack. The BMW flat rate labor quote is huge for this job too since it involves dropping the exhaust, disconnecting the rear brake lines, and fully lowering the subframe... In other words, many shops (including dealers) will do the job like I did it (assuming you can on the G8x) and charge the full book rate.

i am 330i rwd. just installed the h&r front and rear swaybar kit (sku 33662-2). took the workshop about 7hrs to complete.

not sure if placebo but the steering does feel more responsive, direct and more confidence in taking corners

The set you mention is only available in the European market. Do you by chance have a link for purchase in the US? This is the set I require since my car is RWD.

This should be it: https://www.achtuning.com/h-r-72462-...-4-series-rwd/. Not being adjustable is a bit of a shame, and there's not much of a difference over stock (my shop measured the M340i RWD sway bars at 26mm/19mm).
