Any guide for opening trim and wire routing for dashcam

I bought this used G20 and I want to install dashcam. Most of the videos have open the trim and then put wires inside. But this is my first expensive car so I am scared and I want to find more detailed videos before I open it. Does anyone has any guide on how to do it?

Tuck it under the headliner, run to the the A pillar. It is fairly easy to remove the A pillar - YouTube (you’ll have to pop the airbag plastic cover to access a bolt). Run the wire under the A pillar, avoiding the airbag. You can then route it under the weather stripping, no need to take apart the dash.

It’s best to run it through the passenger side if left-hand drive because the fuse box is there.

Easiest place to tap 12v was from the mirror for me (Step 4 of this guide):

Amazon also sells “mirror tap to usb” for dash cam wiring as well in case you need to convert voltage
