Although I suspect my issue being a US-spec car in Europe is part of the problem.

Same here. No software update menu in my Connected App since this monday.
03/2020.30 with no OTA update yet.

I have no idea, there's no release note anywhere.
The only new things I noticed are the addition of AndroidAuto and "Window activation", but I guess those were part of 07/2020 any way.

You could try searching for info in German, but it doesn't seem like anything major or interesting.

Every new software release always contains the best two features. Erasing all of your coding and removing your ability to tune. Thanks BMW.

If it's any consolation, apparently BMW USA is very slowly incrementally rolling out OTA. Haven't figured out their logic (it sure doesn't seem to be geographically), but about a month ago, I just happened to check for updates & my downloaded & installed version 07/2020.54, even though it had been on on 07/2020.45

I guess eventually, we'll all get OTA

Hi - The Remote SW Upgrade disappeared from my Connected Drive app also over the last few days.

By chance, I found out that BMW is rolling out a new app called 'My BMW' . I downloaded it from the app store, and there it is -back again! Remote Software Upgrade is there.

I do think BMW's OTA and app management is a complete mess however!

Remote software update is still in BMW Connected and I do not see an app called My BMW in the App Store.

The My BMW App is currently available in the following countries: Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, United Kingdom and Korea.

On android phones the My BMW app can be downloaded manually as an apk and installed, even if it is not officially supported on the local google playstore.

I tried this months ago but the app wouldn't recognize my VIN during registration.

I think in my case it worked because the car has a german market VIN. But i only needed to input my connected drive account, it was not needed to register again.
