You won't have to have it.

There's no CD player in the car by default. You can get the CD prep option mentioned above, but that doesn't include a mounted CD player either, just the preparation for a later install (connectors, wires I guess) as far as I know.

I just don't get why you have to add $10k in options to get items standard on a $24k Honda Accord?

seriously it was actaully less money last time around. I didn't have a moonroof on my F30... I have probably opened the moonroof in my current car 1X. I really wish it was some money back and no moonroof.

I have been on this one for a while... they totally misplayed the CarPlay option... the optics of it makes them look even stupider because there is a strong cultural awareness of what CarPlay is, it makes charging for it look even more ridiculous. It's easier to charge for radar cruise control and make some marketing claims around why your brands version is better and worth the charge. But CarPlay is the same for everyone.

Hey at least you have an option to get CarPlay... those of us on team Android have nothing other than BMW stating Android Auto might be made available with OTA update in the future.

Agreed. I guarantee standard CarPlay on every BMW would prevent more accidents than ultra cruise whatever. Even the cheapest shittiest DIY eBay LCD stereo insert has it.

Believe me I know the pain. Was an Android user until last year. The iPhone integration was still absolute garbage on my '16 3 series with the extra nav/apps suite. Pissed me off so much because every single rental car (Corolla, Altima, Fusion, etc...) I would get in worked fine.

CarPlay and standard radar cruise is what sold me on the Camry for a work vehicle instead of just keeping my 3er. I went from a '16 BMW to a '19 Toyota and I feel like I was moving 10 years ahead. That's just flat wrong IMO. BMW should realize that people care about features, it's the point of buying an expensive car. Like seriously doesn't it take your team of hundreds of engineers and techs a few days to fix crappy smartphone integration? It's been YEARS that BMW and Merc continue to be piss poor.

840 - Increased top speed limiter

For those of you ordering G20, if opt for performance tire and/or non-runflat, the top speed will increase from 130mph to 155mph with (code 840 Increased top speed limiter) added to the build sheet from factory.

More so - if you get black wheels with non run flat performance tires (19" M Double-spoke jet black wheels, style 791M w/high-performance non rft) - it adds the track pack to the whole car.
It seems to be the only way to get M brakes and M dif on the 330XI

jacks up the price to 62K fully loaded (no individual paint, 64 with).

Another ordering question - to get diving Assistance Pro package $1700 - do i need to include $500 driving assistance pack (blind spot) - so it makes it a $2200 option?

ZDY Driving Assistance Professional Package requires ordering ZDA Driving Assistance Package. If we just want ZN1 Active Blind Spot Detection, one can order it with ZMP M Sport Package.

Might want to cross check with your CA on the actual vehicle inquiry (build sheet). It should list 2NH and 2T4 under ZTR pack. If it allows, it must have been changed from BMW as that combo for xDrive was not available previously.

I'm going with the m sport package. Alpine white or mineral white Metallic? Any thoughts? I love the mineral white, but in certain light it looks more like a light silver which I'm not crazy about.

checked out a car today that had the spare tire option. Wow it really really makes the trunk seem much smaller. It looks like that tire takes up 5" of the bottom of the entire trunk
