That doesn't look merino, isn't merino smooth? That looks like vernasca or whatever its called. I have yet to see a G20 with Nappa or proper merino extended leather.

Mineral Grey > Dravit Grey. Personally would not pay extra for a more dull grey.
Everyone keeps complaining about the rear, but still can't get past the grill and headlights. Corona rings were very distinctive, this is just...blah. |

I never liked earth tones, but I especially don't care for tan. I don't ever wear tan or brown. To me tan/brown definitely doesn't go with gray, but I see a lot of other people like it so I guess it's just me.
Somehow I guess I became guilty of being a stereotypical NYer wearing black all the time. 🦇

I have Dravit Grey on my 8 Series and this is exactly how it is. All depends on the brightness of the light at the time. Grey is the most popular colour in the UK!

Yes, I get that...which is kind of my point. Seems a tad "overdone".

Hi. I'm the Regional Sales Manager for ADM.
I don't charge extra for Dravit Grey - having said that, being an Individual colour, there is a lot of metallic, thus it does look a lot different under different light conditions. Under direct sunlight it lights up in a gold/olive hue. It's pretty. |

Hi everyone.
I'll clarify some points. The images were taken from our Facebook page (BMW Abu Dhabi Motors), I keep it active with unique cars I come up with, and new releases. The colour is Dravit Grey, with Cognac Vernasca leather (not Merino, that was an assumption made by most online publications that have shared the images) The Headlights are LED. The car drives superbly - it's surprisingly firmly sprung, yet more solid than f30. The interior is also impressively well-put together - no buzzes or rattles when traversing rougher surfaces. Wizardry makes it sound like a 6-cylinder when in "sport" mode. Fake, yeah, but it is more pleasant than a 4-cylinder sound. I use the theatre for my photos because, well, I have it available - I could do photos in the showroom but then it would take longer due to lighting, customers walking around etc. It's also pretty unique so adds a bit of mystery and allure, if you will. Regarding the controversy around the rear light design - I'll have to use the old cliché - it looks different in real life. There are design lines above the lights that "taper" the rear, and the lights themselves are 3-d - when you look at the car you don't see Lexus at all. Definitely worth a visit to your nearest dealer for a look-see and test-drive. |

The car is starting to appeal to me. Have been invited to go and test a 330i and an M340i in March by my local dealer so it will be good to see one in the flesh and better still, see what the fuss is about in terms of their handling and steering
As for this colour combo, the interior is okay but the exterior? It's grey, for f**ks sake. Nothing to see here, move on

Yes. It's the dullest thing on a dull day in Dullsville.
