Cutting bump-stops?

Hello everyone, going with AST lowering springs.
I have seen a few talk about cutting the oem bump stops and a few that don't, or upgrade their bump-stop kit.
The ASTs lower the car 30mm. Which route should I take?
Leave as-is? Cut them? Or order an upgrade kit?

Thank you

IMHO - just spend the extra couple of dollars, get the upgrade kit and do it right.

Ast doesn't make a kit so that's why I'm not sure what to do. Unless I mix&match and get the Dinan kit.

Understood - I had the Dinan kit until I swapped the coilovers. Most who swap their bump stops do so with the Dinan kit.

+1 on the Dinan kit with the springs and supplemental ride quality and handling kit.

I have H&R with the Dinian bumpstops/dust covers installed last night so not fully settled yet and of course it snowed so not going to test it soon.
But on the drive home I did bit a nice dip and it bottomed out the fronts. Definitely still harsh so I wonder if the bumpstops really help for me vs cutting.

AST lower about the same as dinan so I would think they're a better match.

Hey Turn Signal... update on your opinion now 2 months later? I've been wondering abt the H&R Springs and Dinan RQ Kit combo. Still bottom out more than you'd like?

I never thought stock M340 suspension was comfortable to begin with but it is noticeable less comfortable now. The wrong bump and it will bottom out the Dinan bumpstops. From reading others comments it would make sense the Dinan springs are a better combo with stock shocks and their bumpstops.

I'll eventually switch to Dinan springs, KW's or back to stock.
